About the Role
We are seeking an experienced FP&A System implementation expert to lead the design, configuration, and rollout of a new Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) system for our client in the Western Cape region. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project timelines, risks, and stakeholder communication, as well as overseeing data cleansing, migration, and reconciliation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead design, configuration, and rollout of the new FP&A system
- Manage project timelines, risks, and stakeholder communication
- Oversee data cleansing, migration, and reconciliation
- Define scalable reporting hierarchies and structures
- Validate system integration and quality assurance with IT and vendors
- Build and configure P&L, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow structures within the tool
- Automate budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes
- Support Power BI integration and data model setup
- Deliver training and change management programs
- Conduct system testing and user acceptance
- Streamline Board pack preparation using system capabilities
- Improve month-end close and variance analysis workflows
- Automate agency reporting templates and submissions
Requirements
- Experience with Adaptive Insights, Netsuite, or other FP&A programs
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Strong technical skills, including data analysis and system configuration
Qualifications
- Degree or honours degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- Professional accounting qualification (CA(SA)/PA(SA)/CIMA)
