About the Role
Hire Resolve is seeking a highly skilled Geologist to join their team in Paarl, Western Cape. Our client is looking for an experienced professional with 3-10 years of experience in exploration or mine geology to conduct various activities, including resource estimation, sampling programs, and grade control processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct exploration and mine geology activities
- Perform and review resource estimation, sampling programs, and grade control processes
- Interpret drilling results and geological datasets, develop and validate geological models, and prepare clear technical reports and documentation
- Evaluate new mining and exploration projects, providing geological input to support investment and development decisions
- Undertake site visits to verify geological data, sampling practices, and operational assumptions
Requirements
- Grade 12 Sc. in Geology
- Registered or eligibility with the South African Council for Natural Scientific Professions
- 3-10 years experience in exploration or mine geology
Qualifications
- Matric certification (if applicable)
Salary & Benefits
Salary: R500k – R900k CTC, Company Medical Aid contribution; Fuel / Travel Allowance; Laptop work tools.
