Job Summary
Description
Hire Resolve, a reputable recruitment agency, is currently seeking a skilled Civil/Structural Engineer to join our client`s team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, analysis, and evaluation of civil and structural engineering projects. They should have a strong technical background and be familiar with industry standards and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Designing, analyzing, and evaluating civil and structural engineering projects
- Preparing detailed drawings, specifications, and reports
- Collaborating with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders
- Ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations
- Managing project schedules and budgets
Requirements
- B(tech) or Bachelor`s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil and structural engineering
- Registered with ECSA as a Professional Engineer or an Engineering Technician/Technologist.
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
- Willingness to travel to project sites as required
