About the Role
GAP Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Junior Draughtsman to join our team in Cape Town, Western Cape. As a Junior Draughtsman, you will be responsible for creating high-quality technical drawings and assist in the production of manufacturing projects. If you have excellent drawing skills, experience with CAD software, and a passion for detail-oriented work, we want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the creation of 2D drawings using Solidworx CAD software
- Interpret and understand technical drawings to ensure accuracy and quality
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records of project progress
- Collaborate with senior draughtsmen and engineers to complete projects
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Junior Draftsperson in the manufacturing industry
- Proficient in Solidworx CAD software
- Well-versed in 2D drawings and ability to interpret technical drawings
- Valid driver’s license and own transport required for work-related travel
Qualifications
- Diploma in Draughting or relevant Tertiary Education is required
- Any other relevant qualifications will be considered
Salary & Benefits
Basic Salary of between R18,000 and R20,000 negotiable based on experience.
