Requirements:
- Grade 12
- National Diploma / Certificate in Supply Chain / Business Admin, Logistics or similar field
- 1-2 years stock control experience within FMCG
- Exposure to ERP systems
Duties and
Responsibilities:
- Help monitor stock levels and maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions
- Perform regular stock counts and reconciliations to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions
- Keep updated records of stock movements, incoming deliveries, and outgoing shipments
- Work with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure timely stock replenishment
- Verify and cross-check delivery notes, invoices, and stock receiving documentation
- Ensure compliance with FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expired, First Out) inventory principles
- Assist in investigating stock variances and provide reports to senior management
- Support the implementation and adherence to inventory control policies and procedures
- Help prepare reports on stock levels, turnover rates, and potential stock shortages
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards related to stock storage and handling
- Assist in maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse layout for easy stock retrieval and movement
- Participate in periodic audits and ensure adherence to internal controls and regulatory requirements
