Key Responsibilities

• Provide mechanical engineering expertise across maintenance, reliability, and project-related activities.
• Perform detailed inspections, failure analyses, and technical assessments on mechanical systems, rotating equipment, machinery, and structural components.
• Support the design, modification, installation, and commissioning of mechanical equipment and systems.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and technical documentation.
• Assist with project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and progress monitoring to ensure alignment with project timelines and safety standards.
• Identify improvement opportunities and contribute to equipment optimisation, energy efficiency, and reliability enhancement initiatives.
• Ensure all engineering work complies with safety, health, environmental, and statutory requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and project stakeholders to support smooth execution of projects.
• Prepare technical reports, risk assessments, and engineering recommendations.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• ECSA registration or eligibility for registration is an advantage.
• 3–5 years’ experience as a Mechanical Engineer within industrial, mining, processing, or heavy engineering environments.

• Proven experience in mechanical design, maintenance engineering, project support, and equipment optimisation.
• Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar design tools.
