Are you a versatile leader with a deep understanding of specialized vehicle or mobile unit manufacturing? A leading manufacturer known for high-quality mobile solutions is seeking a hands-on Production Manager to oversee their fabrication and assembly lines.
This is an ideal role for a leader who may not be on the tools every day but possesses the technical “know-how” to guide a multi-disciplinary team through complex builds.
Key Responsibilities

Production Oversight: Manage the end-to-end manufacturing process of specialized mobile units and trailers.

Team Leadership: Supervise a skilled workforce, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and to exact quality standards.

Workflow Optimization: Identify bottlenecks and implement efficient assembly-line strategies.

Quality Control: Conduct technical inspections to ensure every unit meets rigorous safety and functional specifications.
Technical Knowledge (Beneficial)
While you will be managing the workflow, technical familiarity is highly beneficial as you will need to understand, troubleshoot, and oversee the following specialized areas:

Trailer Manufacturing: A conceptual or practical understanding of chassis and mobile structure assembly.

12V Electrical Installations: Insight into low-voltage systems and specialized wiring layouts.

Welding & Metal Fabrication: The ability to assess the quality and structural integrity of metalwork.

Plumbing Systems: Knowledge of freshwater and waste-water configurations within mobile units.

Cabinet Building & Fit-out: An eye for detail regarding interior finishing, carpentry, and final installations.
