About the Role
As a Production Manager at Persona Staff, you will be responsible for overseeing daily production operations across multiple product lines, driving process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste, and ensuring that production targets, deadlines, and output requirements are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production operations across multiple product lines
- Manage and lead production supervisors and shop floor teams
- Ensure production targets, deadlines, and output requirements are consistently met
- Drive process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste
- Implement and monitor production workflows, SOPs, and quality standards
- Identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions
- Monitor production planning and scheduling in line with demand and capacity
- Ensure optimal utilisation of labour, machinery, and materials
- Work closely with procurement and stores to ensure material availability
- Ensure product quality meets required standards and specifications
- Oversee health & safety compliance within the production environment
- Track and report on production performance, output, and efficiencies
- Provide regular feedback to senior management on operational performance
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Production Manager in a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of production processes, workflow optimisation, and output management
- Experience managing supervisors and large production teams
- Ability to work in a high-volume, multi-product environment
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Experience in metal, fabrication, or related manufacturing environments (advantageous)
