About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Mechanical MEP Design Engineer to join our team on various HVAC projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience working on complex projects, including commercial, healthcare, residential, hospitality, or mixed-use developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and coordinate mechanical MEP designs in compliance with project requirements and applicable codes/standards.
- Review consultant drawings and specifications for coordination and constructability.
- Coordinate with architectural, structural, and electrical disciplines during design and construction stages.
- Support tender documentation, BOQs, technical evaluations, and material approvals.
- Participate in BIM coordination and clash resolution meetings.
- Conduct site inspections and support installation, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Mechanical MEP design and construction projects.
- Experience working on HVAC systems, including chilled water systems, VRF systems, AHUs, FCUs, ventilation, pressurization, and smoke extraction systems.
- Proficient in AutoCAD Revit MEP / BIM Coordination MS Office Suite HVAC design software such as HAP or equivalent.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Additional certifications in HVAC, Fire Protection, BIM/Revit, or Project Management will be advantageous.
