About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Production Technician to join our team in the Western Cape region. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults, working independently under pressure, and meeting tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults using a practical, hands-on approach
- Work independently while staying calm under pressure and focused on tight deadlines
- Apply logical thinking and sharp attention to detail to complex technical challenges
- Communicate clearly and confidently, both verbally and in writing
- Use computer systems comfortably, with MES and SAP experience beneficial
- Remain flexible and committed, including availability for standby support when required
Requirements
- 3–5 years’ experience in a fast-paced production or manufacturing environment
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults using a practical, hands-on approach
- Work independently while staying cool under pressure and focused on tight deadlines
- Apply logical thinking and sharp attention to detail to complex technical challenges
- Communicate clearly and confidently, both verbally and in writing
- Use computer systems comfortably; MES and SAP experience will be beneficial
Qualifications
- Millwright trade test
- Valid driver’s license
