Job Summary
Are you a detail-oriented accountant with a passion for the property sector? We are looking for an experienced Property Accountant to join our team and manage financial reporting for our growing portfolio.
Position: Property Accountant
Location: City Bowl

Key
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and manage financial reports for a diverse portfolio of properties.
- Handle month-end closing processes, including reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate and timely payment processing.
- Collaborate with property managers to provide financial insights and reporting.
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support business decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements related to property transactions and management.
- Assist in the preparation of year-end financial statements and liaise with auditors.
Requirements:
- BCom Accounting degree or equivalent qualification.
- CIMA or studying towards CIMA (beneficial)
- Proven experience in financial reporting, ideally within the property or real estate sector.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, with hands-on experience in general ledger, financial statements, and reconciliations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Pastel, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail.
