Job Summary
REQUIREMENTS
- Matric, relevant qualification advantageous
- At least 5 years sales / administrative support experience
- Computer Literate
- Bilingual (Afrikaans/English)
- Very confident, a team player who is well-spoken and presentable
- Dedicated worker with ability to multi-task well
DUTIES
Administration
- Ensure Reception area is neat, clean & tidy and the switchboard is manned at all times.
- Ensure Internal Sales are notified should a visitor want to view the Showroom.
- Ensure visitors are comfortable should they have to wait for their appointment.
- Responsible for answering all incoming calls within the first three (3) rings.
- Screen all calls, transfer all incoming calls to the correct recipient.
- Take accurate messages when the person sought is not available.
- Ensure messages reach the person timeously.
- Ensure the switchboard is manned at all times.
- Comply with any other instructions that may be given by your Manager.
- Remain up to date with staff on leave or not in the office in order to assist visitors.
- All tasks that need to be performed pertaining to the switchboard and reception.
- Resolve customer queries or direct the call to the relevant person to assist
Sales Support
- Support and assist the sales consultants in the sales process
- Generate quotes
- Load specials
- Load leads
- Complete tenders and related documents
- Complete order templates and forward to admin
- Follow up on orders and confirm delivery dates – Update forecasts
- Liaise with customers if and when necessary
- Resolve customer queries or refer enquiry to relevant person
- Generate proforma invoices
- Do Adhoc administrative duties within reason if and when requested
