Job Description
Handling bookings from various channels like phone, email, or online platforms.
Responding to inquiries, providing information about the lodge and its offerings, and addressing special requests.
Ensuring accuracy and completeness of guest information and booking details in the reservation system.
Upselling rooms and packages and negotiating rates to maximize occupancy and revenue.
Coordinating with other teams to ensure smooth guest experiences.
Addressing overbooking or other booking-related problems and finding solutions for guest needs.
Having a thorough knowledge of room types, facilities, amenities and pricing.
Ensuring all reservations are handled according to established guidelines.
Requirements:
Grade 12
A formal qualification
At least 2+ years’ experience in LODGE reservations
Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with guests and colleagues.
Accuracy in data entry and record-keeping is crucial.
A positive and helpful attitude is important for creating a positive guest experience.
Experience with relevant reservation software and online platforms is often required.
The ability to address and resolve booking issues and guest concerns.
The ability to promote the lodge’s offerings and maximize revenue.
