Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Aircraft Stress Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge aircraft design and ensure the structural integrity and safety of our products. You will play a crucial role in the design, analysis, and certification of aerospace components and systems.
Key
Responsibilities:
- Perform static, fatigue, and dynamic stress analysis on aircraft structures and components.
- Conduct design reviews to ensure compliance with aerospace standards and regulations.
- Work closely with the design, manufacturing, and certification teams to resolve structural issues.
- Lead and mentor a team of engineers, providing technical direction and support.
- Develop and implement best practices for structural analysis.
- Ensure that all analyses are completed on time, within budget, and meet safety standards.
- Provide technical reports and presentations to both internal stakeholders and customers.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering department.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor`s or Master`s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in aircraft stress analysis, particularly on civil or military aircraft.
- Proficiency in stress analysis tools such as NASTRAN, PATRAN, or similar.
- Extensive experience with FEM (Finite Element Method) analysis and hand calculations.
- Solid understanding of aerospace standards, including FAA/EASA certification processes.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with composites and metallic materials in aerospace applications is a plus.
