About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented student surveyor to assist our client’s team with surveying tasks in Wellington, Western Cape. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of experienced surveyors and gain hands-on experience in various surveying techniques and technologies. This is a great opportunity for a student who is currently pursuing a degree in surveying or a related field and is looking to gain valuable practical experience in the industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in conducting land surveys using GPS, total stations, and other surveying equipment
- Collect and analyze survey data
- Assist in creating maps and drawings based on survey data
- Assist in preparing survey reports and documentation
- Follow safety protocols and procedures on surveying sites
- Collaborate with team members to successfully complete surveying projects
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in surveying, geomatics, civil engineering, or a recently completed degree
- Proficiency in using surveying equipment and software
- Field experience would be beneficial
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
