• Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, order fulfilment, inventory control, and dispatch.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company procedures related to warehouse operations.
• Manage a team of warehouse staff: hiring, training, supervising, and evaluating performance.
• Maintain accurate stock levels and manage stock rotation to ensure product integrity and minimize waste.
• Work closely with procurement, sales, and customer service teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment.
• Implement and optimize warehouse processes for efficiency, safety, and accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment in line with health and safety standards

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a warehouse management role, ideally in the FMCG sector.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing and motivating a team.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Proficient in warehouse management systems (Syspro) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Sound knowledge of health, safety, and regulatory requirements in warehousing.
• Ability to multitask and handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant diploma or certificate in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field will be advantageous

Salary / benefits & hours of work

• Salary negotiable and dependant on experience
• 9% Non-contributing provident fund
• 15 workdays leave per year
• Company assistance towards a medical aid
• Bonus/13th Cheque
• Mon-Fri / Closed on public holidays
• Opening/Closing of warehouse on rotational basis
