About the Role
Ohmni Recruitment is seeking a skilled Welder to join our team on various industrial and commercial electrical projects in the Western Cape region. As a key member of our project-based workforce, you will have the opportunity to work on large-scale projects and contribute to the growth of our technical environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Welding of steel structures, brackets, trays, frames, and supports for electrical installations
- Site work on industrial and commercial electrical projects
- Fabrication, installation, and modification of steel components
- Reading and interpreting basic drawings and site instructions
- Working safely on active construction and industrial sites
- Traveling to various sites as required by project demands
Requirements
- Proven welding experience (MIG / ARC / Stick – TIG advantageous)
- Experience working on electrical or industrial sites
- Comfortable with site work and traveling
- Valid driver’s license (essential)
- Good understanding of site safety standards
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, physically fit, and deadline-driven
