Description:
Hire Resolve’s client is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mine Planner to join their dynamic mining team in Gauteng. As a Senior Mine Planner, you will be responsible for designing and implementing strategic and operational mine plans, ensuring the efficient and safe extraction of minerals.

Responsibilities:

• Create and optimize short-term and medium-term mine plans
• Ensure Zero Harm culture through compliance with SHE policies, standards, and governance.
• Lead by example in SHE standards and operational campaigns.
• Conduct regular safety and operational inspections with prompt remediation.
• Define team roles to maintain effective performance.
• Develop rolling plans with stakeholders to align with business goals.
• Schedule resources for mining activities to meet targets.

Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Degree in Mining Engineering, Mineral Resource Management or equivalent
• 2 years’ experience in short-term mine planning.
• 2 years’ production/operation experience in a managerial position
• Extensive knowledge and experience in mine planning packages and reporting tools: Deswik Suite, Syncromine, XPac, etc.
• Valid Driver’s License
