Mechanical Fitter

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair mechanical machinery and equipment.
• Conduct preventative and scheduled maintenance.
• Perform fault diagnosis and corrective repairs.
• Align, test, and inspect mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain accurate job cards, service reports, and maintenance records.
• Ensure compliance with SHEQ standards.

Requirements:

• Trade Test Certificate (Mechanical Fitter Red Seal).
• Minimum 3-5 years experience in mechanical fitting within the engineering or manufacturing sector.
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes, pumps, and rotating equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of safety standards and regulations.
