About the Role
Hire Resolve’s client is currently looking for a Commercial Manager to join their team for a SANRAL project in the Eastern Cape, South Africa. The Commercial Manager will play a critical role in overseeing and managing the financial and commercial aspects of construction projects in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure profitability and cost control on construction projects
- Manage contract administration and risk assessment
- Maintain compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial management within the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts and regulatory requirements
- Excellent financial management and budgeting skills
- Proven track record of successfully managing commercial aspects of construction projects
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
