Job Summary
Requirements:
Please note this is a fixed term contract Degree/Diploma in Food Technology/Biotech/Analytical 2 years of relevant experience within the FMCG/manufacturing industry Should be able to uphold and maintain the current Quality systems in place, exposure to quality systems and HACCP will be an added advantage
Responsibilities:
Quality Control Testing Online QC checks BB/Label/Weight Factory and Yard hygiene. Issuing PPE Laboratory analysis (All lab tests on the manufactured product will be trained on all procedures) Responsible for ensuring labware are washed on a daily basis Assist with routine QC testing and shelf life testing as required Responsible to record all test results in protocol daily Responsible for reporting non-conformances to QC manager immediately Replenishing of stock in all areas of lab Performing all laboratory tests for online products, refinery, storage tanks and incoming tankers. Tests include FFA, PV, Moisture, Density, Refractive Index, Color, Soap, Wax, Phosphorous and GC Analysis. Calibration of all equipment Ensuring that GMPs, GHPs and GLPs are adhered to Issuing of chemicals Pest control Monitoring of CCPs Documentation control.
