Job Summary

Our client, an independent school near Menlyn, Pretoria, needs a Grade 3 teacher from 6 January 2025 or, at the very latest, the end of February 2025.The ideal applicant will have experience teaching Grade 3, but newly qualified Foundation Phase teachers will be considered, as will experienced Foundation Phase teachers who, though nearing retirement, are still passionate about working with this age group. Class sizes are small (fewer than twenty per class). The school, which follows an international curriculum and caters for both international and local learners, is well established and well resourced. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:-An appropriate academic and professional qualification (eg B.Ed. Foundation Phase or equivalent) -A kind and gentle approach to learners-SACE registration and police etc clearance-The legal right to work in South Africa-The ability to communicate in English at a professional level-A concise (maximum 4 pages) but comprehensive CV that includes all pertinent information (please read the CV MAGIC page on our website, to make sure that youve included everything that we consider important).HOW TO APPLY:Write a factual covering email summarising the experience and qualifications that make you suitable for this post, as described above.
