Operate turning machines, including lathes, grinders, and milling machinesRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specificationsSet up and adjust machines to ensure accurate and precise productionMonitor and control machine operations to ensure quality and efficiencyPerform routine maintenance and repairs on machinesWork with various materials, including metals, plastics, and compositesCollaborate with other machinists and engineers to ensure project completionMeet productivity and quality standards

Requirements:

5 Years experience working as a Turner with Hydraulic turning experience. ( 5 years after completion of trade test) Strong understanding of machining principles and techniquesAbility to read and interpret blueprints and specificationsStrong attention to detail and focus on qualityPhysical stamina to lift and move heavy objects, hardworking, energetic and goal-driven. High school diploma or equivalent required; certificate or degree in machining or related field (Proof of qualifications must be provided) Hydraulic turning as the employee will be mainly working with cylindersLine boring experience will be beneficial Must be able to work under pressure. Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspaceMust be able to solve problems within agreed standard policies and procedures.time management and team leadership skills.
