• Assess vehicle damage to determine repair requirements.
• Have Full and extensive knowledge of repair process.
• Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and work orders.
• Remove damaged panels and repair or replace them using specialist techniques.
• Straighten chassis and bodywork to restore vehicles to manufacturer specifications.
• Fill dents, weld metal parts, and grind surfaces to prepare for refinishing.
• Align body panels, doors, and trim for a seamless fit.
• Operate specialized tools and equipment, including hydraulic presses, planishing hammers, and spray guns.
• Working overtime if and when required
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding repair progress, WIP meetings and departmental meetings – performance to target.

• Experience: Minimum 3 years’ experience in panel beating or related automotive body repair work.
• Qualifications: Trade certification in Panel Beating or Vehicle Body Repair – Red Seal qualification.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in welding, panel alignment, and refinishing techniques.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to work precisely to ensure high-quality standards and ability to meet deadlines.
• Physical Stamina: Capable of performing physically demanding tasks.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• License: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Matric
• Preferably reside within Helderberg area
