SENIOR SOUS CHEF – KRUGER NATIONAL PARK
Description
WILCON Recruitment is seeking an experienced and creative Senior Sous Chef to join the team at a prestigious luxury lodge in the Kruger National Park. This role requires a strong leader with a passion for fine dining, innovation, and team development within a high-end culinary environment.
Requirements
Culinary Qualification – 3-year Chef’s Diploma from a recognised institution
Experience – Minimum of 5 years in a senior kitchen management role within a luxury lodge or fine-dining establishment
Culinary Expertise – Knowledge of modern food trends and dietary requirements
Leadership & Training – Ability to manage, mentor, and develop a kitchen team
Compliance Knowledge – Familiarity with labour legislation, safety procedures, and fire equipment use
First Aid Certification (advantageous)
Essential Skills – Strong organisational ability, excellent communication, and the ability to perform under pressure
Portfolio Requirement – A food portfolio showcasing creativity, innovation, and attention to detail must be submitted with your application (all images will be verified for authenticity)
