Job Summary
Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate group reservations, ensuring seamless communication with clients. Handle event bookings, including accommodation blocks, conference packages, and special requests. Process and confirm reservations efficiently using the hotel’s booking system. Liaise with the sales and operations teams to ensure smooth event execution. Maintain accurate records of bookings, contracts, and correspondence. Prepare quotes, contracts, and invoices for group and event reservations. Assist in maximizing revenue through effective yield and inventory management. Address client inquiries and provide professional assistance to enhance the guest experience.
Requirements:
SA Citizen. Minimum of 2 years’ recent experience in a reservations or events role within a 4- or 5-star hotel. Strong knowledge of hotel reservation systems and event coordination. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple bookings. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
