Job Summary

A prestigious 5-star hotel in Qatar is seeking an experienced Catering and Events Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of event planning, catering operations, and banquet services. The ideal candidate will ensure the seamless execution of high-profile events, luxury weddings, corporate functions, and VIP gatherings while maintaining the highest hospitality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Event Planning & Coordination

  • Oversee the planning, organization, and execution of luxury events, corporate meetings, weddings, and banquets.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements, ensuring tailored and exclusive event experiences.
  • Work closely with the culinary team to design customized catering menus that align with client expectations.

Catering & Banquet Operations

  • Manage all aspects of catering services, from food presentation to service execution.
  • Ensure impeccable food quality, hygiene, and service standards in line with 5-star hotel requirements.
  • Coordinate with chefs, F&B managers, and banquet teams to deliver flawless events.

Sales & Revenue Generation

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to attract high-end clients and corporate accounts.
  • Maximize event revenue through upselling, package customization, and partnership collaborations.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and proposals with clients while ensuring profitability.

Guest Experience & VIP Service

  • Provide exceptional hospitality and personalized service to VIP guests, dignitaries, and corporate clients.
  • Handle special requests, last-minute changes, and high-profile event expectations with discretion.
  • Maintain strong client relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals.

Team Leadership & Training

  • Lead, train, and motivate the catering and events team to deliver world-class service.
  • Oversee staff scheduling, ensuring adequate manpower for all events.
  • Foster a culture of professionalism, teamwork, and attention to detail.

Budgeting & Cost Control

  • Manage event budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost efficiency.
