Responsibilities: Responsible for the full accounting function of the company Oversee the financial and administrative management of the organisation Preparation of budgets and forecasts Coordinate audits (External) Oversee preparation of monthly management accounts Responsible for assets, procurement, commercial contracts, debtors and insurance management Manage payroll, time and attendance Responsible for VAT compliance and all statutory regulatory reporting Manage the HR function Manage timeous submission of PI grants, BBBEE, EE, WSP/ATR and related reporting Ensuring across the business unit, efficient utilisation of the SAGE X3 ERP system Cost management Provide support to the General Manager in terms of the day-to-day operations of the business and longer-term strategizing Requirements BCom degree and postgraduate qualification or other relevant financial qualification CA (SA) or CIMA (Advantageous) MBA qualification will also be a significant advantage ERP system experience is a requirement, and SAGE X3 knowledge will be an added advantage A minimum of 5 years experience as a Financial Manager A minimum of 10 years overall financial-related experience in a manufacturing environment Critical thinker with good problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Deadline-driven with the ability to work under pressure Super-user skills in MS Office (Essential) Leadership skills Due to the high volume of applications received, only suitable candidates who meet the criteria of this vacancy will be contacted.
