Job Summary

The purpose of the position is to ensure effective alignment, planning and implementation of client’s supply chain strategic, tactical and operational plans. The primary focus is to develop and manage the company’s purchasing strategy within the constraints of a neutral working capital inventory model, warehouse capacity planning & management while maintaining client’s inbound product standards, without compromising on assured supply to the market. Managing the Supply Chain Department which includes process compliance, people development and succession planning. Developing and managing the Company’s relationship with both internal and external clients as well as the supplier base, enabling customer solutions across the supply chain and all geographical regions. The Key Functional Responsibilities: The Key Functional Responsibilities includes but is not limited to: Align Company’s execution capability with customer requirements as their needs change based on their strategic and tactical plans. Ensure that the team design, manage and implement market tests, promotions and new customer projects based on their new requirements. Design, guide and integrate new services into the bigger supply chain solution offered to the customer across all geographical areas. Track and manage effective infrastructural capacity management for increased volumes and purchasing plan. Workable customer resolution that meets the distribution Center and customer requirements Implement a specific project that addresses Customer requirements Product costing and pricing agreed with the Manage the pricing account with the Finance Department and Operations to ensure a positive balance Design, Cost and agree Import as we all Export Supply Chain solutions with the customer, considering all costing elements of international trade. Agree & sign off product pricing with customer, at every price change Ensure that the team effectively manage & communicate price change process with the Customer, IT, Finance & Ops at every price change interval. Execute on Price Changes in GP and other platforms Ensure team’s efficient, effective and accurate monthly, weekly and daily planning on promotions, local supply as well as imported products. Manage assure supply situations, updating all stakeholders on plan and execution Build effective relationships with internal and external customers (suppliers and corporation SCM team) to improve operating efficiencies. Ensure that the team assists operations with inbound supplier Ensure weekly management of import orders and facilitate the imports process on all imported stock Ensure 100% order fulfilment and documentation accuracy on export orders as well as timeous execution of order. Adherence and delivery against specific tasks against the department’s scorecard with emphasis on targets and accuracy. Make sure of assured supply of product within the regions, across all items, sitting at the right stock cover levels, within required stock cover days. Facilitate the reporting and focus on supplier performance to improve supplier delivery and order reliability through a customer. Update, implement and maintain a Supplier Manual. Manage non-compliance to the Supplier Ensure team’s management of order lead times and assured supply, especially with imports to deal with long lead times and export order impact on stock cover days. Any short shelf-life product to be managed pro-actively with the customer Manage discontinued items to the minimum and follow through with customers Ensure all supply chain costing solutions are verified and signed off with the customer. Supply Chain Operations Protocols to be in place with all customers, supporting the contract Ensure accurate Item Master and Pricing File between the company and the primary customer is kept updated in GP. Ensure accurate completion of Product Information Sheet, kept on file for every approved item and signed off by the Customer. Submit accurate daily, weekly and monthly plans and reports Ensure efficient and accurate administration for transactional excellence across the supply chain Ensure team development of a planned purchasing schedule matching DC capability, delivery timeslots and capacity. Ensure purchasing methodology is executed by the team Use Barnton forecasting tool to an optimum level and provide a forecasting service to customers as required. Manage critical items assure supply to ensure that DC does not impact market. When impacting assured supply, ensure team obtains from the customer a letter of variance. Co-ordinate team communication of the plan with Ops/Finance/Customer contact with weekly progress updates/meetings. Take-on of new suppliers. Ensure adequate training is planned for all staff within Ensure Staff have PDAs. Make sure all staff understand strategic intent of purchasing Live the Company values Communicate Departmental structure to align on succession Plan and approve leave throughout the year Adhere to quality system Adhere to Company’s policies and The above list is not exhaustive, and you shall be obliged to perform subsidiary tasks in addition to the primary tasks for which you are employed. The Company undertakes to ensure, however, that these subsidiary tasks will be within the training and experience or occupational capabilities of yourself and that you shall not suffer any loss of remuneration or status for work performed on subsidiary tasks. Personal Skills and Competencies Required: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills (English) Ability to take Exceptional time management skills Planning and organizational skills Ability to work in a dynamic Results and deadline Problem solving Disciplined approach High desire to High performance Meticulous attention to Analytical and methodical Problem solving Good work ethic and Flexibility Ability to work independently and without Minimum Requirements: Grade 12 with relevant Supply Chain or Logistics related Degree compulsory CIPS advantageous Valid Driver’s License Minimum 8 years proven Leadership experience in Supply Chain Management within a FMCG or QSR environment. MS Office with advanced Excel Skills Microsoft Great Plains and Barnton knowledge is required

Job Summary

As a Supply chain Manger , you will be responsible for the following: Develop and implement a unified supply chain planning framework across all African markets within the group. Provide strategic oversight for demand and supply planning, aligning plans with sales forecasts and market dynamics. Lead the integration of standard operating procedures (SOPs) to foster visibility, consistency, and executional discipline across entities. Design and execute a supply chain digitization roadmap, focused on driving efficiency, visibility, and end-to-end optimization. Establish a supply continuity and contingency matrix to proactively manage risk and ensure reliable, cost-effective service delivery. Build and develop high-performing teams, embedding a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement. Oversee tactical and long-term capacity planning with suppliers to match dynamic business needs and ensure availability. Collaborate with internal teams, 3PL partners, and franchisees to ensure cohesive and agile planning execution. Lead raw material and ingredient planning to optimize inventory, reduce waste, and align with operational demand. Drive strategic supply chain optimization initiatives that align with the groups expansion and operational excellence goals. What Do You Need?: 10 years of senior-level experience in supply chain planning and logistics management, preferably within the food or restaurant industry. Proven track record in multi-country supply chain leadership, including the integration of diverse business units or subsidiaries. Expertise in supplier management, forecasting, network planning, and inventory optimization. Demonstrated success in leading large-scale transformation and digitization initiatives. Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with a knack for influencing cross-functional and external stakeholders. A Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Industrial Engineering, Engineering, or a related field.
