About the Role
Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a highly organized and experienced Warehouse/Facility Manager to oversee the operations of their warehouse and facility in Gauteng. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, overseeing the receiving and shipping of goods, maintaining a safe and efficient work environment, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the warehouse and facility
- Oversee inventory management, including receiving, storing, and shipping of goods
- Monitor and track inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels
- Implement and maintain effective warehouse processes and systems to maximize efficiency and productivity
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Coordinate with other departments to meet customer demands and deadlines
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve overall warehouse operations
- Train and supervise warehouse staff
- Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy of inventory records
- Manage facility maintenance and repair activities
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Warehouse Manager or Facility Manager in a retail environment
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management software
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related field preferred (if applicable)
