Job Summary
- Manage end-to-end production and operational costing
- Analyse manufacturing processes to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Maintain accurate BOMs, routings, and WIP data
- Prepare and manage plant OPEX and CAPEX budgets
- Produce monthly management reports and profitability analysis
- Perform product costing, internal pricing, and margin tracking
- Investigate and resolve cost variances
- Partner closely with production and operations on strategic decisions
- Support forecasting, planning, and investment proposals
What You’ll Bring:
- BCom in Management Accounting or equivalent
- CIMA (Management Level) highly advantageous
- 3–5+ years in cost and operational accounting within manufacturing (steel preferred)
- Proficient in ERP systems (Sage X3 ideal) and Excel
- Strong understanding of IFRS, VAT, and financial controls in a factory setting
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
- A team player who thrives on collaboration with production and operational staff
