Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversee all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and compliance across multiple mining sites and jurisdictions.
- Turn raw financial data into gold-standard insights that guide strategic decisions and operational efficiency
- Lead cost analysis and performance tracking to ensure every dollar mined is a dollar maximized.
- Manage internal and external audits with precision, ensuring full transparency and zero surprises.
- Identify financial risks and implement solid frameworks to mitigate them before they even surface.
- Mentor and manage a lean, high-performing finance team — think accountability, agility, and accuracy.
Experience Required
- Bachelor of Commerce (B. Com) in accounting
- 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in an accounting role
- Strong commitment to confidentiality and data integrity
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in financial reporting and analysis
- Medically fit and capable of fulfilling job requirements
