Job Summary
Based in Cape Town (with flexible/remote options), this opportunity offers end-to-end involvement across ideation, delivery, and continuous improvement on a high-traffic, product-led platform.

Duties:
- Act as the primary liaison between product, business, and technical teams.
- Facilitate requirements-gathering sessions, stakeholder interviews, and user story workshops.
- Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, user stories, and wireframes.
- Drive the definition, design, and delivery of product features and enhancements.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and Developers to ensure accurate implementation of business needs.
- Conduct gap analyses, impact assessments, and feasibility studies.
- Ensure traceability of requirements throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Support QA with test planning, test case definition, and acceptance criteria.
- Continuously refine processes, tools, and documentation to enhance delivery quality.
- Monitor post-deployment metrics and work with teams to iterate or improve product features.
Job Experience & Skills Required:
Qualifications:
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- CBAP, PMI-PBA, or similar BA certifications are advantageous.
Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst in tech, product, or software-driven environments.
- Experience working in agile delivery teams (SCRUM, Kanban).
- Proven track record of owning and delivering on product or feature lifecycles from discovery to deployment.
- Demonstrated experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including developers, designers, testers, and product managers.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills – both technical and non-technical.
- Skilled at writing clear and concise documentation: user stories, use cases, wireframes, workflows, etc.
- Proficient in tools like JIRA, Confluence, Balsamiq, Figma, Lucidchart, or equivalent.
- Ability to influence product strategy through data-driven insights and structured analysis.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities and shifting deadlines.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and confident in navigating evolving requirements.
