<p><strong>Hotel & Lodge Group</strong> based in <strong>Gardens, Cape Town</strong> is looking for a <strong>Marketing & Distribution Executive</strong> to act as liaison between the group and their <strong>external </strong>Marketing and PR company and to assist in <strong>developing </strong>and <strong>implementing marketing</strong> strategies, overseeing the <strong>marketing </strong>and <strong>distribution network</strong> and managing r<strong>elationships</strong> with key clients and partners.</p><p>You will also assist in ensuring efficient <strong>product delivery</strong>, analyse <strong>market trends</strong> to achieve <strong>revenue targets</strong> and market share growth.</p><p><strong>Duties:</strong></p><p><strong>Strategy and Execution:</strong></p><p>Develop and implement marketing strategies</p><p>Ensuring efficient and effective delivery of products to customers, optimizing distribution channels and managing relationships with distributors and partners.</p><p>Analyse market trends and customer needs</p><p>Coordinate marketing with marketing campaigns and promotional activities.</p><p>Monitoring sales data, analysing results, and providing regular updates to management.</p><p><strong>Distribution Management:</strong></p><p>Manages room inventory across various sales channels to maximize bookings and revenue.</p><p>This involves a strategic approach to deciding which channels to utilize and how to optimize their performance.</p><p>It encompasses both online and offline channels, with the goal of reaching a wide range of potential guests.</p><p>Plan and execute delivery schedules</p><p><strong>Relationship Management:</strong></p><p>Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and distributors</p><p>Resolve customer issues and complaints</p><p>Negotiate contracts with suppliers and distributors</p><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><p>Grade 12</p><p>A formal qualification</p><p>At least 2 4 years experience in a similar role</p><p>Knowledge of OTA extranets and Siteminder backend</p><p>Strong understanding of revenue management and digital marketing within the hospitality industry</p><p> </p>
