About the Role
Hire Resolve is currently collaborating with a prominent company in search of an experienced Construction Manager to oversee construction projects, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of construction, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Work with subcontractors to ensure they follow contracts and schedules.
- Lead on-site activities, ensuring safety, adherence to building codes, and progress according to plans.
- Maintain construction quality standards through inspections and checks.
- Promote and enforce a safe work environment. Address safety issues promptly.
- Coordinate the procurement and delivery of materials and equipment needed for construction.
- Provide regular updates on progress and address any issues that may affect the project timeline.
Requirements
- Minimum 15 years of construction experience in large corporations
- Experience in mechanical, piping, and structural steel
- Proficiency in installation of heat exchangers and pressurized equipment
- Registered with PMI (Project Management Institute) and PPM (Professional Project Manager)
- SACPMP registered
- Computer literate, proficient in MS Project or Primavera for creating project schedules
- Ability to liaise with clients
- Experienced in managing supervision and assembling method statements
- Proficient in planning and coordinating different disciplines
- Fluent in English
- Conducts oneself professionally at all times
- Demonstrates an excellent track record with contactable references
