Job Description

The Sales Representatives mission is to provide sales and promotional content and enhance the customer experience to ultimately improve the health outcomes of patients. The role is responsible for maximizing brand growth through promotional activities tailored to the needs of HCPs within the allocated territory. Customer Engagement: Engage with customers in-person and virtually to compliantly grow the business and drive product demand, by proactively providing solutions to achieve business objectives and needs Engage on promotional science-based brand messages and other ranges of content (e.g., disease state) to support the HCP in improving patient outcomes and experience Knowledge of customer preferences for content and channels to orchestrate an ideal customer experience through relevant content selection Acts as key Point of Contact for seamless (compliant), reactive only, connection to Subject Matter Expert (SMEs) and resources Responsible for onboarding customers to new operating model and platforms (e.g. Digital Engagement Portal) Orchestrate ideal customer experience through relevant content selection, based on knowledge of customer preferences Implement strategies that drive HCP digital engagement adoption Organization alignment- Is aligned with the culture, values and mission; operates in a manner aligned with organizational culture, values and mission. Territory Planning and Management: Develop and execute territory business plan in line with business objectives Track activities of the agreed plan and proactively report any potential barrier to achieve planned activities Recommend creative and innovative ideas/solutions to increase market share within the territory Producing reports according to Health Representative Manager recommendations and market needs. Organize and implement value-added programs across the territory Ensure timely and relevant customer insights and market intelligence is captured and shared via relevant systems Reporting/Administration: Adherence to all compliance policies and guidelines Timeous recording of customer interactions within PforceRx Maintain an up-to-date and accurate customer list Timely and accurate submission of expenses and remain within the allocated budget Self – Development: Proactively implement and update personal development plan Own and drive your development plan Proactively receive and act on feedback from peers, trainers, and managers QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE/COMPETENCIES Relevant Bachelor degree A minimum of 3-5 years’ sales experience in the pharmaceutical / healthcare industry is essential Effective selling and presentation skills through virtual and face to face interaction Digital and non-digital learning agility Good business knowledge and customer acumen Demonstrated ability to work within a team/as a team player Exhibit a high degree of flexibility in adapting to a rapidly changing environment Strong organizational and prioritization skills Sound understanding of compliance and integrity principles Basic Computer literacy e.g., Microsoft Excel / PowerPoint/Word /Outlook

Job Description

As a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative, you will serve as a direct point of contact for healthcare professionals (HCPs), ensuring they have access to accurate, evidence-based product information while fostering strong professional relationships. This role requires a good understanding of pharmaceutical products to support HCPs in making informed decisions. You will focus on engagement and product education, ensuring that medical professionals stay up to date with the companies portfolio and therapeutic advancements. Qualifications & Requirements: Bachelors Degree or Diploma is required Minimum of 2 years pharmaceutical sales to include medical detailing or HCP engagement experience Strong ability to communicate scientific concepts in a clear, engaging manner. Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills with HCPs. Ability to work independently in a field-based role, managing engagements effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools for engagement tracking. Valid drivers license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory. Key Responsibilities: HCP Engagement & Relationship Building Build and maintain strong relationships with HCPs, including doctors, specialists, pharmacists. Conduct regular face-to-face and virtual interactions to educate and support HCPs with product information. Act as the primary point of contact for HCPs, addressing queries and providing relevant medical product insights. Product Detailing & Education Deliver scientifically sound, engaging product discussions sessions tailored to HCPs needs. Ensure HCPs have a clear understanding of product benefits, indications, and mechanisms of action. Support new product launches by ensuring HCPs receive timely and accurate information. Work closely with Medical Product Leads to bridge the gap between scientific data and practical application for HCPs. Driving Product Awareness & Advocacy Identify and engage with key prescribers and influencers to increase brand awareness and encourage product adoption. Support and enhance HCP confidence in product portfolio through educational discussions and Q&A sessions. Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and ethical standards in all HCP interactions. Market Intelligence & Feedback Gather insights from HCPs on market trends, competitor activity, and patient experiences. Provide feedback to the marketing and medical teams to optimize engagement strategies and product messaging. Track engagement activities and measure their impact on HCP awareness and prescribing behaviors. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support Work closely with the Medical Product Leads and HCP Engagement Specialists to align messaging and engagement strategies. Support marketing efforts by distributing relevant educational materials and promotional content to HCPs. Assist in executing key HCP engagement initiatives, such as peer-to-peer discussions and advisory board meetings. Skills & Competencies Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills ability to engage with pharmacists, HCPs, and stakeholders effectively. Excellent communication and organizational skills ability to coordinate multiple interactions and follow up proactively. Experience in pharmacy training and engagement ability to educate and support pharmacy teams. Event coordination experience managing logistics, invitations, and execution. Proactive and detail-oriented ability to track engagement activities and refine strategies. Ability to work cross-functionally with medical, sales, and marketing teams. Tech-savvy comfortable with digital communication tools and virtual event platforms.
