Our client, a market leader in their industry sector, is currently looking to employ a Regional Sales Lead, based in Gauteng, with responsibility also covering the Free State and KwaZulu-Natal regions.
Familiarity with FMCG production principles, ideally within the meat processing or hygiene solutions sectors secures!

Requirements
-
Minimum of 5 years experience in technical sales, preferably within the industrial or capital equipment sectors.

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
-
Holds or is currently pursuing a relevant business degree or diploma.
-
Strong financial acumen with experience managing full sales cycles and budgets.
-
Familiarity with FMCG production principles, ideally within the meat processing or hygiene solutions sectors.
-
Solid technical background with the ability to understand and demonstrate complex product solutions.
-
Strong administrative and organizational skills, including reporting, planning, and scheduling.
-
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
-
Demonstrated success in customer relationship management, business development, and sales performance.
-
Willingness to travel extensively across multiple regions.
Responsibilities

Manage the customer experience within the assigned regions, promptly addressing and resolving concerns.

Understand customer needs and requirements, building and maintaining positive long-term relationships.
-
Develop tailored solutions based on customer requirements and future growth strategies.
-
Collaborate with customers to provide comprehensive solutions that support market growth.
-
Arrange and conduct product and equipment demonstrations at client sites and company facilities.
-
Develop sales strategies aligned with product offerings, targeting prospective customers and specific markets.

Liaise with internal technical, finance, and operations teams from concept through to commercial close-out.

Identify new sales opportunities through cold calling and networking.

Consistently work towards achieving sales targets in line with budget requirements.
