East London: Junior Bookkeeper

Junior Bookkeeper required for a renowned retail company based in East London Key Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following: Manage and maintain the books for 6 small entities. Handle full bookkeeping function up to trial balance. Process and reconcile petty cash transactions. Reconcile supplier and customer accounts. Prepare and set up payment batches for Accountant approval and release. Capture and process journals accurately. Assist with ad-hoc accounting and administrative tasks as needed. Requirements: Bookkeeping certificate or relevant financial qualification would be an advantage. 2 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in a retail environment would be an advantage. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Proficient in accounting software and Excel. Good organizational and time management skills. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
