Pinetown: Aluminium Welder / Assembler

Key Responsibilities: Perform high‑quality aluminum welding to project specifications Assemble aluminum components, frames, structures, etc., with precision Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to guide welding and assembly work Inspect finished welded assemblies to ensure they meet quality and safety standards Coordinate with workshop team to meet production schedules Maintain cleanliness, safety and orderliness in the workshop environment Minimum Requirements: At least 5 years of experience as an aluminum welder and assembler Strong hands‑on assembly skills, especially with aluminum Ability to read technical drawings / blueprints / engineering schematics accurately Solid welding techniques (e.g., MIG, TIG) specific to aluminum fabrication Attention to detail; able to produce neat, strong welds and correctly aligned assemblies Good time management, reliability, and ability to work independently and in a team Preferred Skills: Prior experience in a workshop setting in or near Pinetown Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in welding and fabrication Comfortable with a variety of assembly tasks and custom/one‑off work
