Job Description
A boutique hotel in Houghton seeks a confident, trend-aware individual ready to step into a General Manager role. Candidates should have solid experience as a Duty Manager, in Front of House, or guesthouse operations within luxury hospitality. This is a hands-on leadership opportunity focused on daily operations, service excellence, and personalized guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all operational departments with a hands-on leadership style

Ensure seamless guest experiences with a focus on personalization and quality

Lead, train, and inspire a diverse team to deliver exceptional service

Monitor market trends and implement strategies to stay ahead of the curve

Manage budgets, supplier relationships and operational reporting

Collaborate on brand development, marketing and guest engagement initiatives
Qualifications

35 years experience in a managerial capacity within a luxury hotel environment

Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or related field

Familiarity with hotel booking and property management systems
Skills

Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

Knowledge of current hospitality trends and guest engagement strategies

Proficiency in hotel operations and service delivery standards
