About Us:Epic Cafe is a new family-style restaurant launching in Diep River in October 2025. Were passionate about delivering fresh, flavourful meals & an enjoyable dining experience for every guest.Job Summary:Were looking for a dependable & motivated Line Cook to join our team at Epic Caf. As a Line Cook, youll be responsible for preparing high-quality food quickly & efficiently, following our recipes & presentation standards. Youll play a key role in ensuring a great dining experience for our guests.Key Responsibilities:- Prepare & cook menu items according to recipe & portion standards- Maintain cleanliness & organisation of the cooking station & kitchen- Ensure food is cooked & held at proper temperatures & times- Follow all food safety & sanitation guidelines- Communicate effectively with other kitchen staff & front-of-house team- Assist with prep work and other kitchen duties as assigned- Restock stations and manage inventory levels during and after shifts- Adapt to a fast-paced kitchen environment with a positive attitudeQualifications:- 1 – 2 years experience as a line cook or prep cook.- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods & lift up to 25kg- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques & kitchen equipment- Strong time management & multitasking skills- Team player with good communication & a strong work ethic- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, & holidays- Food Handlers Certification (or willingness to obtain) may be required.
