Johannesburg North: Senior Receivables Accountant posted by Network Finance

My client is seeking an experienced Senior Receivables Accountant to drive the efficiency and effectiveness of their O2C processes, leading a high-performing team while ensuring compliance, accuracy, and optimal service delivery.

This role is based in Sandton, Johannesburg North.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing end-to-end O2C processes, including billing, collections, credit risk, and customer account management.
• Driving standardisation, efficiency, and automation across the O2C function.
• Leading, coaching, and developing a team of finance professionals.
• Partnering with cross-functional teams (e.g., Sales, Operations, and Finance) to ensure service excellence and issue resolution.
• Maintaining strong internal controls and ensuring compliance with corporate policies and accounting standards.
• Monitoring KPIs and reporting on performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
• Supporting transformation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Proven experience in leading order to cash or similar finance operations teams.
• Strong understanding of financial processes, systems, and controls within O2C.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills.
• ERP system experience (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
• Results-driven with a proactive and collaborative approach.
