Working closely with a multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to the entire project lifecycle, from initial feasibility studies to project commissioning and ongoing performance analysis. Responsibilities: Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to identify suitable locations for wind energy projects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop wind farm layouts, considering factors such as wind resources, land constraints, and environmental impact. Perform wind resource assessments and energy production estimations using industry-standard software and tools. Design wind turbine foundations and support structures, ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. Coordinate with suppliers and contractors during project construction, ensuring adherence to design specifications and safety protocols. Conduct performance analysis of wind farms, identifying optimisation opportunities and implementing corrective measures when necessary. Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in wind energy to drive innovation and improve project efficiency. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Master’s Degree preferred. Previous experience in the wind energy industry or renewable energy sector is highly desirable. Proficiency in wind resource assessment tools, such as WindPRO, WAsP, or equivalent. Strong knowledge of wind turbine design principles, including aerodynamics, structural mechanics, and electrical systems. Familiarity with relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., IEC 61400 series, ISO 9001, ISO 14001). Proficient in using computer-aided design (CAD) software for wind farm layout design and structural analysis. Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret and analyse complex data sets. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
