Field Guide | Luxury Safari Lodge | Kruger National Park Salary: Negotiable depending on experience Kendrick Recruitment is currently seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Field Guide for a world-class luxury safari lodge based in the Kruger National Park . This role offers a unique opportunity to deliver immersive safari experiences while contributing to the leadership and operational excellence of the safari team. Key Responsibilities: Lead guests on game drives and guided bush walks, offering holistic and educational wildlife experiences Follow all safety and operational procedures for individual, family, and kids’ safaris Deliver informative and engaging interpretive talks and wildlife tracking demonstrations Ensure outstanding guest interactions, including orientation, hosting, and personalized service Assist Safari Management with departmental operations and field guide mentorship Practice responsible weapon handling and comply with FGASA standards Support lodge emergency protocols (medical, fire, flood, evacuation) when needed Contribute content to lodge social media platforms, promoting conservation and wildlife awareness Maintain and oversee all safari vehicles, equipment, and assets in working condition Collect and communicate guest preferences to Management for a personalized stay Address and report guest concerns or complaints promptly Minimum Requirements: NQF4 Trails Guide Qualification ARH and Rifle Proficiency Valid First Aid Level 1 Valid Driver’s License with Pr-DP Prior experience as a Field Guide at a luxury safari lodge Sound knowledge of FGASA standards and guiding best practices Ideal Candidate Attributes: High attention to detail with a strong guest-focused approach Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) Professional, enthusiastic team player with strong interpersonal skills Strong time management and a solutions-oriented mindset Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing conditions Committed to upholding the lodge’s values of excellence, care, and service Willingness to contribute to team growth and development If you’re a motivated, knowledgeable guide ready to offer unforgettable safari experiences and grow within a supportive and professional environment, please send your CV to apply.
