Job Description
Our Client operating in the IT and Internet Service Provider space, is seeking to employ an experienced Financial Manager to their team based in Plettenberg Bay.
Professional financial qualification (CA(SA) CIMA ACCA or equivalent) secures!
Requirements:
- Proven track record as a Senior Finance Manager or senior financial leader.
- Strong background in financial reporting compliance and policy management.
- Experience working with banks insurance companies and external auditors.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a high-performing finance team.
- Professional financial qualification (CA(SA) CIMA ACCA or equivalent) preferred.
- Industry experience in telecommunications technology or services is advantageous.
Responsibilities, but not limited to:
- Oversee preparation of accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
- Present clear financial insights and make recommendations to support strategy.
- Assist leadership with budgeting, forecasting and scenario planning.
- Lead, mentor and manage the finance team to ensure operational excellence.
- Establish and maintain a culture of accountability accuracy and efficiency.
- Ensure financial policies and procedures comply with relevant legislation.
- Review update and implement financial policies for best practice.
- Oversee risk management governance and internal audit processes.
- Manage relationships with banks insurers and other financial institutions.
- Negotiate favourable terms with financial partners to support operations and growth.
- Oversee cash flow capital allocation and working capital management.
- Support commercial teams with financial modelling cost analysis and ROI reporting.
- Ensure tax VAT and statutory filings are accurate and submitted on time.
