Employer Description The largest fixed wireless internet service provider in South Africa and the Oone of the largest fibre network operators Job Description Manage the RFC deployment and compliance. Manage capacity planning. Implement and administrate any required change management OSPF planning, management and optimization. MPLS/VLANs planning, configuration and management. Planning and advanced, maintenance and support of: Router configurations and L2 Switching. Network device management. Advanced IP planning, deployment and management. Advanced Firewall planning, deployment and management. Logical design, drawing and documentation of networks (as per RFC). Responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting the network. Enforcement of SOP. Escalate all advanced RF or Fibre problems to relevant departments. Reports into the NOC Team Leader and assists with management, planning, implementation and maintenance. Manage projects effectively. Advanced fault finding. Compile reports as required. Any adhoc task as per the operational requirement of the business. Qualifications MTCNA Certification. MTCRE Certification. A relevant tertiary qualification would be advantageous. Juniper experience is advantageous Skills 5 years Network Engineer experience. OSPF Routing Expert. MPLS Intermediate/Expert. Mikrotik Routers Expert. L2 Switching Expert. Ability to communicate complex ideas both written and verbally. Must be able to compose and manage complex network. Networking Expert / Expert . Proven experience on: UBNT & Cambium. BGP experience. Ability to work independently and in a team. Ability to work quickly, effectively and under pressure.
