Job Description
- Lead the strategic development and execution of the Collections function to meet business goals and drive innovation.
- Set and manage monthly targets and scorecards, ensuring accurate tracking and performance analysis.
- Collaborate with Business Intelligence teams to optimize reporting and ensure AWS dashboards are rolled out effectively.
- Redesign and enhance collections strategies to support improved outcomes.
- Provide strategic insight and guidance on behavioural linguistics and credit models.
- Deploy and monitor analytic models to optimize collections performance.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver key projects.
- Mentor and support collections analysts through coaching and knowledge sharing.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
- Education: Relevant tertiary qualification in Finance, Business, or related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years’ experience in Collections Strategy or a related function within financial services, with proven leadership experience.
- Skills:
- Strong strategic and analytical mindset.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in data analytics and business intelligence tools (e.g., AWS dashboards).
- Ability to drive innovation and implement performance improvement strategies.
- Non-negotiable: Proven track record of strategic leadership and delivering measurable business impact.
