About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Hotel Receptionist to join our team at The President Hotel. As the face of our hotel, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service while ensuring the smooth operation of our front desk. Key Responsibilities
- Welcoming hotel guests with warmth, professionalism, and confidence
- Managing hotel check-ins and check-outs efficiently using OPERA PMS
- Assisting guests with requests, queries, and general hotel information
- Handling guest complaints and concerns professionally and efficiently
- Ensuring all guest profiles, bookings, and billing details are accurate
- Managing cashiering procedures and daily hotel reception administration
- Communicating effectively with Housekeeping and other hotel departments
- Monitoring arrivals, departures, room allocations, and guest requests
- Maintaining hotel Front Office standards and SOPs at all times
- Delivering exceptional hotel guest service and creating memorable experiences
- Keeping the hotel reception area neat, organised, and professional
Requirements
- Matric Certificate (Grade 12)
- Hospitality qualification or diploma (advantageous)
- Minimum 2 years experience within a hotel front office or hotel reception environment
- Previous experience as a Hotel Receptionist or Front Office Receptionist preferred
- Strong hands-on OPERA PMS experience essential
- Strong computer literacy, including OPERA PMS and Microsoft Office
