Job Description CAD draughting Working with building plans provided by client Drawing basic plans from site markups Installation plans (equipment placement, cable routes, etc) System schematics System electrical wiring diagrams Piping Isometrics Mechanical drawings (Component manufacture) Mechanical Installation details Working with Revit models (Provided by clients) (Skill in creating models with Revit will be a bonus) Creating 3D models with AutoCAD Site plans from Google earth Documentation Installation Bills of Quantities Commissioning/Maintenance Documentation System Device lists/Programming sheets Basic PowerPoint presentation (System schematics) Project Files Design calculation Basic, Non-Engineering level (In-House training Provided) Site Surveying Markup of equipment installations Markup of Building layouts Checking of installation As-Builts Configuration of graphical BMS system ( Building management System) This is a graphical (computer based) system for monitoring installed hardware, the configuration thereof is a service provided by the drawing office Qualifications Technical Matric Draughting Course Mathematics and Physical Science to Matric level with a mark of >60% Skills Minimum 2 3 years working experience AutoCAD 2D & 3D Autodesk Revit (beneficial) Experience in working as a multi-disciplinary draughtsman Ability to understand and perform basic mathematic and geometric calculations, as well an understanding of basics physics concepts Must have a drivers licence Non-Smoker Working hours 7:30 to 17:00 Mon-Fri
