Mechanical Fitter (Junior level)

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with assembly and disassembly of machinery, equipment, and components.
• Perform basic mechanical maintenance tasks such as lubrication, cleaning, replacing worn parts, and tightening fasteners.
• Support senior fitters in troubleshooting mechanical issues.
• Follow work instructions and technical drawings under supervision.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and lifting equipment safely.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Adhere to safety standards and procedures at all times.
• Record completed work and report issues to supervisors.

Skills & Competencies:

• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, tools, and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings and manuals.
• Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
• Problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn.
• Awareness of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) practices.
